The Personification Of Bravery In A Spirit

A Modest General with immense Powers

This is General Dieter Llanfair, the personification of bravery in a spirit. He is the pre-physical soul who instils his sense of bravery into those who have to fight in a situation that is of no fault of their own. This could be on a battlefield or just for emotional survival in an everyday event. In doing so, though, he can open his own beauty-inspired soul up to the mockery of others who fail to understand him. Ultimately, he needs the help of a young, homeless girl, Onyx Cattarini, when she comes into possession of a special diode, and a lost drummer boy who can control the immeasurable power contained inside his drum, and, of course, his horse, Zinnabar, who he is bound to forever. Despite all of his misunderstandings, he is an introvert at heart who can be easily hurt, yet he is needed now more than ever!
Whilst his orders from his commanding officer, the Asurlette, is to do what he does best by giving bravery and tactical expertise to those innocent humans in distress, he himself is forbidden to take a human life or even  display overt aggression to others, as this would contravene his direct orders and cause his fate to be altered drastically. In book two of this series of five books (book two is currently being written), he has a female counterpart who, despite being able to instil fighting capabilities into a human for defence purposes (she is part of a mythical, Cambrian, female band of fighters whereby she is the last one remaining), she is being hidden away from view for her own protection.
Even though General Llanfair puts his own existence at risk at times, some people when they become aware of his flamboyant and slightly over-confident aura, become over-awed with their own fear of the unknown, and which is translated into ridicule, despite their chance of success being zero without his help. His strengths are not of the muscular type whether he could be born or not, but the type of which are much harder to acquire in the presence of adversity, bravery, truth and a tactical intelligence of epic proportions. More often than not it is emotional bravery combined with the power of imaginative thought that can outwit brute strength in a dire situation, and to which this general is well versed at.

The general's ability to transmit his ideas can often be heard by his allies, and the poem 'Don't Mock' came from his thoughts, (via my imagination, of course!) I will put it up on my blog next time. Here is a quote from it:
"Cry not, for the tainted water that laps the pristine shore hides the vivid soul of truth!"
